I am the parent of two youth soccer players who play on a travel club in the Midwest. Over the years that my children have played the game, I have developed a great interest in everything about it. I try to catch as much as I can on TV while still remaining a productive parent, spouse and member of society. I have no particular expertise in the game, just a love for it. I'm writing this blog as a resource for people to learn about the game from a parent's perspective. Not everything will be "educational," however. I'll also write about other soccer-related topics that, I hope, will be entertaining.
